Bleeding th e Fuel System
A com pletely bled fuel system is
imperative fo r perfect engine oper

is continuously bled via the over

The entire system m ust be bled
w hen the car has been driven until
the fuel tank was com pletely
emptied.
A fte r refueling, start the engine,
engaging the starter fo r about
20 seconds until all the trapped air
has been evacuated.
W ith a poorly charged battery the
system m ust be bled manually.
Operate the prim er pum p until the
injection pum p o verflow valve
opens (rattling noise audible).
Disengage prim er pum p handle
prior to operating it (turn co un ter
clockw ise). R etighten after use.
Engine Oil Level C heck
Check engine oil level at regular
intervals, e.g. after refueling, w ith
the engine at operating tem pera
