Sun Visor
To protect against dazzling sunlight
from ahead, fo ld the sun visor
dow nw ards.
In the event o f strong sunlight
through the side w indow s, remove
the sun visor from its inner fixtu re
and swing it sideways.
H eated Rear W in d o w
Turn key in steering lock to posi­
tion
“ 2".
W hen the rear w in d o w heater is
engaged, the w hite indicator light
in the sw itch (1) comes on.
A heavy load is imposed on the
battery due to the high pow er re­
quirem ent. For this reason, sw itch
o ff the heated rear w in d o w as soon
as it is dem isted or defrosted. It is
cut o u t autom atically after 30 m in­
utes at the latest. First o f all, h o w ­
ever, clear heavy layers o f ice
or snow.
Shelf b e lo w Rear W in d o w
Do not carry heavy or hard objects
on the shelf below the rear
w in d o w . Such items could become
dislodged during hard braking or
upon a vehicle crash causing
distra ction or serious injury to the
vehicle occupants.
