The fan motor is faulty.

Check the ? coolant temperature gage in the instrument clus-
ter.
If the coolant temperature is below the maximum value specified
below, you can continue driving to the nearest qualified specialist
workshop.
Avoid heavy loads on the engine, e.g. driving in mountainous terrain,
and stop-and-go traffic.
Under normal operating conditions and with the specified coolant
level, the ? gage may rise to 248 ‡ (120 †).

Avoid making long journeys with too little coolant in the engine
cooling system. The engine will otherwise be damaged.

Add coolant, making sure to observe the warning notes
