Turn fasteners

Left-hand drive: remove the cover whilst pressing down on cover plate

Position number

identifies the charged battery of the other vehicle or an equivalent jump-

starting device.

Right-hand-drive vehicle: the positive terminal and earth point are on the opposite side

of the vehicle.

Connect positive terminal

on your vehicle to positive terminal

of donor battery

using the jump lead. Always begin with positive terminal

on your own vehicle first.

Start the engine of the donor vehicle and run it at idling speed.

the jump lead, connecting the jump lead to donor battery
