INSERTING THE BATTERIES
•
Open the battery cover on the underside
of the appliance and insert 4 1.5 V AA
batteries. Make sure the batteries are
the right way round in accordance with
the markings in the battery compartment.
Replace the cover.
USE
•
Pull the upper fruit holder (2) all the way
up to the top of the column (1).
•
Position the middle of the stalk end of the
fruit (or vegetable) securely on to the lower
fruit holder (5).
•
Push the upper fruit holder down so that
it pierces and holds the upper part of the
fruit.
•
Raise the arm (3) with the peeler blade so
that it rests on top of the fruit.
•
Gently press the upper fruit holder and
turn the appliance on using the on/off but-
ton (4).
•
The fruit is peeled as it turns.
•
The appliance stops automatically once
the arm reaches the bottom of the fruit.
•
Pull the upper fruit holder (2) all the way
up to the top of the column (1).
•
Remove the peeled fruit from the bottom
holder.
•
Remove potato eyes or blemishes with
the plastic knife (7) which is located in the
base.
REPLACING THE BLADE
•
Remove the batteries from the appliance
to prevent it starting unintentionally.
•
Open the store on the bottom of the ap-
pliance and remove one of the blades
provided. Be careful! They are very sharp!
•
Pull the peeler blade holder off the arm
and push the blade out of the slot in the
holder Wrap it carefully and dispose of it.
•
Push a new blade into the slot in the
holder and replace the holder on the arm.
