6. Switch the appliance off by turning the
speed selector to position 0 once you
have finished using the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance before
you change the accessories or take
the appliance apart.
7. Always fit the protective cover when
not using the accessory socket.
IMPORTANT!
Always remove bone, gristle, tendons,
and rind before grinding the meat.
Frozen food must be thoroughly defrosted
before grinding.
The meat grinder must only be used to
grind meat. Avoid grinding pasty foods,
e.g. food containing breadcrumbs, as this
could damage the appliance.
USING THE BISCUIT MAKER
1. Fit the meat grinder body to the ac-
cessory opening as described above.
2. Attach the auger in the grinder body.
3. Fit the spreader disc. Do not fit any
blade or meat screen.
4. Fit the round metal holder from the
biscuit maker (20) onto the auger
connector.
5. Fit the ring nut over the metal holder
on the meat grinder body. Turn clock-
wise to lock. The ring nut must hold
the metal holder securely in place. Do
not over tighten.
6. Fit the patterned flat metal strip from
the biscuit maker into the metal
holder.
7. Push the metal strip back or forward
to select the pattern for the biscuit
dough.
8. Fit the tray onto the meat grinder
body.
9. Put the biscuit dough onto the tray.
10. Switch on the appliance, and feed the
dough gradually into the feeding tube.
Press down using the tamper. Do not
press too hard or you may damage
the appliance.
11. Catch the dough as it exits the appli-
ance, making sure it does not break.
Cut the dough to size. Bake the
biscuits.
12. Switch the appliance off by turning the

CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, you should
pay attention to the following:
• The parts must NOT be washed in a
dishwasher!
• Remove the plug from the mains
socket, and allow the appliance to
cool down completely before cleaning
it.
• Do not immerse the motor unit of the
appliance in water and make sure no
water gets into the motor unit.
• Clean the motor section by wiping it
with a damp cloth. A little detergent
can be added if the appliance is heav-
ily soiled.
• Do not use scouring pads, steel wool
or any form of strong solvents or
abrasive cleaning agents to clean the
appliance, as they can damage the
external surfaces of the appliance.
