Sharing in Windows98/95

Click the icon of the drive to be shared with the right mouse button and click the
Sharing tab. The window shown below appears.

Window descriptions

Not shared:

Check this option to cancel sharing for the drive.

Shared As:

Check this option to share the drive.

Share Name:

The shared drive name can be changed.

Access Type:

Check an option to determine the operation allowed
to users.

Read Only:

Check this option to make the drive a read-only disk.

Full:

Check this option to allow users to write and read
data in the drive.

Depends on Password:

Check this option to determine operation permission
according to the password.

Password:

Password for "Access Type".

Read-Only Password:

Sets the password for reading only.

Full Access Password:

Sets the password for both reading and writing.
