One component of the correct use
of the product is the observation of
the safety precautions and
operating notes in these operating
instructions. Neither the
manufacturer nor the retailer accept
any liability for losses resulting from
improper or incorrect use.
Only accessories suitable for the
jackhammer may be used.
Persons who operate the
jackhammer and execute
maintenance work must be familiar
with the product and have been
instructed in the potential risks.
Further, the applicable accident
prevention regulations must be
applied.
Other general regulations with
regard to occupational health and
safety must be observed. Changes
to the jackhammer exclude the
manufacturer's liability for resulting
damages.
All other applications are expressly
forbidden and are not considered as
intended use.
Residual risks
Residual risks cannot be excluded
despite the proper use of the
product.
Due to the nature of the jackhammer,
the following risks may occur:
• Damage may be caused to
hearing by not wearing the
necessary ear protection,
• Damage may be caused to
nerves and muscles if suitable
gloves are not used,
• Damages may be caused to lungs
if a dust protection mask is not
used.

operating power tools,
the following basic safety
measures should be observed
to protect against electric
shock, risk of injury and fire.

before you use this jackhammer and
store the operating instructions
carefully. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Solely those persons who have
been instructed with regard to the
use of the jackhammer and
informed about the associated
hazards are permitted to work with
the jackhammer.
The manufacturer of the
jackhammer does not accept
liability for damages caused to or by
this jackhammer as a result of:
• Faulty handling or use not in
accordance with the intended
purpose,
• Non-compliance with the operating
instructions,
• Repairs by third parties or not
authorised workshops,
