FRAX User's Manual

During the calibration process, the software will keep you informed about the progress. The
process takes approximately 12 minutes. After successfully completed calibration, the
following message will appear.

All calibration data is stored in the FRAX instrument. No written report can be obtained from
the software, thus suggesting a separate calibration report to be created manually. Do not
forget to apply the sticker on the FRAX back panel, informing the FRAX user about the last
calibration date.

Although the FRAX does not need to be calibrated more often than every two years, we
recommend that you calibrate the unit every year.

Verification

After a successful calibration, we recommend to do a “short” measurement to verify that the
FRAX performs as expected. Connect as described in the figure below.
