AUGER BEARING
Dismantle the auger shaft at least once per season and lubricate its bearings with a suitable lubricant
such as WD40.
DRIVE AND GEAR MECHANISM
Lubricate once a year or after 25 hours of operation. Remove the rear cover and lubricate bearings,
shafts and gear components once a year using engine oil or lubricating spray (e.g. WD40). Keep
rubber wheels and aluminium belt pulleys free from grease and oil.
SERVICE
WARNING
Turn off the engine and disengage all the control levers and wait until all moving parts
have come to a complete standstill before performing repairs, lubrication and/or inspection. Pull off
the spark plug cable and earth it to the engine to prevent accidental start. Always wear eye protection
when working with or on the machine.
