The engine will not
start.
The fuel tank is empty.
Fill the fuel tank.
The air filter is dirty.
Clean the air filter.
The spark plug is loose.
Tighten the spark plug to 25–30 Nm.
Spark plug lead is loose or is not fitted
on the spark plug.
Put the spark plug lead on the spark
plug.
Incorrect electrode distance.
Adjust the electrode gap to 0.7-0.8 mm.
Fault on the spark plug.
Change to a new spark plug with the
create electrode gap.
The carburettor has flooded.
Dismantle the air filter and pull the start-
er cord repeatedly until the carburettor is
dry. Replace the air filter.
Ignition error.
Contact an authorised service centre.
Empty the fuel tank, water in the fuel or
contaminated or old fuel.
Empty the fuel tank and fill it with fresh
petrol of the right type.
The engine lacks power
