Make sure to fit the blade with the edge pointing forwards in the direction of rotation of the
engine. Tighten the screw holding the blade to 37 Nm. Use a torque wrench.
NOTE:
• Only use original spare parts. The use of other parts can result in serious personal injury and/or
material damage.
• Only use a correctly balanced blade.
• Only use blades recommended by the manufacturer.
Cleaning
IMPORTANT:
Do not spray water on the engine - risk of fuel contamination or water entering and
damaging the engine.
1.
Wipe off the lawn mower with a dry cloth.
2.
Connect the water hose to the quick connector on the cover and rinse the underside of the
lawn mower’s cover.
Storage
1.
At the end of the mowing season, run the engine until the fuel tank is empty and the engine
stops due to a shortage of fuel.
2.
Clean and grease the lawn mower as required.
3.
Lightly oil the blade to protect it from corrosion.
4.
Store the lawn mower in a clean, dry place.
NOTE:
• If the lawn mower is kept in an unventilated area it must be corrosion protected with a thin layer
of thin-bodied oil or silicone spray.
• Be careful not to bend or fold the wires
• If the starter cord becomes detached from the starter handle, loosen the spark plug lead from
the spark plug, push in the operating lock and slowly pull the starter cord. Insert the starter cord
in the guide on the starter handle.
