Special safety instructions
• Do not use the machine without the deflector or grass catcher.
• Switch off the engine, release the spark plug lead from the spark plug,
and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before adjusting
the cutting height.
• Never put your hands or feet under the deck or in the ejector opening when
the engine is running.
• Carefully inspect the area where the machine is to be used and remove any
stones, wires, bones or other foreign objects.
• Keep other people, especially children, and pets at a safe distance from the
work area.
• Never lift or tilt the machine when starting the engine.
Maintenance and storage
• Make sure that all the screw connections are properly tightened to keep the
tool in safe condition.
• Never store the machine with fuel in the tank in areas with sources of ignition.
• Allow the engine to cool before storing the machine.
• Keep the engine, muffler, battery compartment and area where fuel is stored
free from grease, grass, moss, leaves, etc. – fire risk.
• Check the catcher for wear or damage at regular intervals.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• If the tank needs to be emptied, this must be done outside.
• IMPORTANT: Do not touch the blades until they have stopped completely.
• WARNING: Only refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine switched off.
