• Never change the sweeper or its accessories’ construction. Changes can negatively affect the
accessories’ stability, functioning, safety, lifespan and performance. Only use original reserve parts for
repairs and follow the instructions carefully. Parts from other manufacturers may be of lower quality
and not fit properly. All changes in the machine’s construction must be approved by the manufacturer
in writing.
• Do not use the sweeper before you have been thoroughly instructed by qualified personnel about
how the controls are used as well as are familiar with the sweeper’s qualities, dimensions and all
safety requirements.
• Make sure that there is no dirt, rubbish, fat and oil on the sweeper’s handles and controls.
• Ensure that no one is in the vicinity of the sweeper when it is operating.
• Never let anyone ride on the sweeper.
• Only drive the sweeper from the designated place of operation.
• Never leave the sweeper unattended when the motor is on or with accessories in an upward position.
• Never modify and never remove safety devices from the motor or accessories.
• Inform yourself about all applicable safety regulations and traffic regulations which apply at the
workplace. Contact the foreman or safety supervisor if you are uncertain.
• Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or other objects which can get caught in moving parts.
• Put up and protect long hair so that it does not get caught in the sweeper or its accessories.
• Only work on even surfaces in a well-lit area.
• Use the correctly earthed electrical outlets and tools.
• Use the correct tool for each relevant task. Ensure that all the tools are in good condition.
• The sweeper is not intended for use on roofs.
• Make sure safety signs/labels are clean and legible. There are several signs/labels on the sweeper.
• Follow all laws, local regulations and other rules when using the sweeper.
• Risk of falling! Do not use the sweeper near unprotected edges.
• Risk of residue: not every risk from residue can be eliminated, even if the sweeper is used according to
the operating instructions. The following dangers can arise from the construction and design of the
sweeper:
– Health risks if effective respiratory protection is not used.
– Hearing damage if effective hearing protection is not used.
– Health defects resulting from vibration emissions if the product is used over long periods or is
not properly handled and maintained.
