Blade guard (moving)
NOTE:
Always disconnect the plug from the power outlet before starting to clean the blade guard.
Do not use the tool unless all the blade guard is correctly fitted and working. Check that the blade
guard regularly to ensure it is in good condition and works correctly. A damaged or defective blade
guard must be replaced immediately. Clean the blade guard with a damp cloth, do not use a solvent.
Shavings
Shavings and dust accumulation prevents proper cooling of the tool. Regularly remove shavings that
collected under the saw table. e.g., with a vacuum cleaner. The saw table insert can be removed to
facilitate cleaning.
Lubrication
The motor bearings are permanently lubricated and must not be lubricated further.
Maintenance and checks before each use
• Remove saw dust with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
• Check the power cord and plug for damage. A damaged cord and/or plug must be replaced
immediately by an authorised electrician.
• Check that all moving parts can move easily and smoothly over the complete range of
movement.
Regular maintenance and control measures based on the conditions of use
• Check and if necessary re-tighten all bolted joints.
• Check that the saw head springs up all the way to its upper position (starting position).
Replace the return spring if necessary.
