2.
Checking the perpendicular alignment between front, left and right laser points
Place the appliance on its swivel attachment and place it in the middle of the floor in room of 6 x 6
metres.
Switch on all the laser lines and laser points.
Align the laser intersection point and the front, left and right laser points to the walls. One of the
laser beam openings is pointing to the floor – this opening projects the plumb point. Mark the points
A, B, C, D and E on the walls.
Turn the appliance 90° round the plumb axis. Mark the points A', B', C' and D' on the walls.
Measure the distance between A and C', B and D', C and B' and between D and A'. If any gap is
more than 2 mm, hand in the appliance to an authorised service centre.
3.
Checking the precision of the horizontal line and the front, left and right points
Place the appliance on the multi function attachment on the tripod and switch on all the laser
beams.
Mark the laser intersection point A on the wall.
Turn the appliance and place the left and right ends of the lines and the points in the horizontal
plate so that the points B', C', D', E' and F' come close to point A.
Use the points B', C', D', E' and F' to measure the vertical distance from the highest to the lowest
point.
If the gap is more than 3 mm, hand in the appliance to an authorised service centre.
