Before use
• Carefully inspect the area where the
product is to be used and remove any
stones, wires, or other foreign objects.
• Always wear safety glasses when working
with or on the product.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose-fitting clothing or jewellery.
They can get caught in moving parts.
Wear non-slip shoes.
• Products with electric starter motors must
only be connected to earthed power outlets.
• Adjust the height of the funnel so that it is
free from gravel etc.
• Disengage and put all the controls in
neutral mode before starting the engine.
• Do not make any adjustments with the
engine running, except as stated in this
manual.
• Allow the engine and product to adjust to
the outdoor temperature before starting
to clear the snow.
HANDLING FUEL
• Be careful when handling fuel – risk of
personal injury and/or material damage.
Petrol is highly flammable and can be
explosive in certain circumstances. If you
get petrol on your skin or clothes, wash
immediately.
• Only use an approved fuel container.
• Store and handle petrol away from sparks,
naked flames, heat and other ignition
sources. Smoking is prohibited when
handling fuel.
• Never refuel indoors.
• Never remove the filler cap or top up with
fuel when the engine is running.
• Allow the engine to cool for at least
2 minutes before refuelling.
• Do not overfill the tank. Do not fill the fuel
tank to more than 1 cm below the filler
pipe, so that the fuel can expand.

exhaust fumes from the engine contain
chemical substances that can cause
cancer, foetal damage or other
reproductive problems.
• Only use the product in accordance with
these instructions. Read all warnings,
safety instructions and other
instructions. Failure to follow all the
instructions and safety instructions can
result in the risk of serious personal
injury.
TRAINING
• Read all the instructions, safety
instructions and all the warning labels on
the product prior to assembly and use.
Save these instructions for future
reference.
• Familiarise yourself with the controls
on the product and how to use them.
Learn how to stop the product quickly
and disengage the drive.
• Do not allow children under 14 to use the
product. The product can be used by
children older than 14 years, but only if
they are under adult supervision.
• Never allow children, or anyone who is
unfamiliar with the product and these
instructions, to use it.
• Ejected objects can cause serious personal
injury. Plan the work so that materials are
not thrown towards roads, bystanders, etc.
• Keep bystanders, especially children, and
pets at least 20 metres from the work
area. Switch off the product if someone
enters the work area.
• Be careful to avoid slipping or falling,
especially when walking backwards.
