BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Fully charge the battery before using the
soldering pen.
1. Check that the mains voltage corresponds
to the rated voltage on the type plate.
Plug the mains adapter (c) into a suitable
power point.
2. Connect the charger connector (b) to the
charging connection (a) on the back of
the product.
3. The charging status light (6) goes red
during the charging. It takes about 135
minutes to fully charge the battery.
4. When the battery is fully charged the
status light (6) goes green. Unplug the
mains adapter (c) from the power point.
The soldering pen is now ready to use.
NOTE:
On delivery the soldering pen is in transport
mode to avoid the risk of it starting
unintentionally and causing a fire, and/or
discharging the battery. In this mode the
soldering pen cannot be started with the
power switch. Follow the instructions below.
STARTING THE SOLDERING PEN
The soldering pen has a power switch (5), a
charging status light (6) and a status light for
heating (4).

1. Press the power switch (5). The charging
status light (6) goes on.
– The battery is fully charged when it
goes green. A red status light means
that the battery is fully discharged.
2. Press the power switch for 1 second to
switch on the soldering pen.
