5. To dilute feeding , press SELECT
until strength is displayed. Press

In steps 6–8, you have the option

HYDRATION WITH
AUTOMATIC 25 ML FLUSH
Administers water with feeding over
a selected time interval during con-
tinuous feeding, concluding with an
automatic 25 mL water flush.
6. To set water volume, press
SELECT until Set volume is dis-
played. Press or to set the
desired volume of water to be
delivered. Adjustable in 1 mL
increments from 0–500 mL.
7. To select time interval, in hours,
press SELECT until Time Interval
is displayed. Change by press-
ing or . Adjustable in 1 hour
increments from
2 to 12 hours. MAXIMUM
WATER DELIVERY IS 75 ML PER
HOUR UP TO A MAXIMUM OF
500 ML. (See page 13 for maxi-
mum water volume setting at
specific time intervals.) The final
25 mL of water is automatically
flushed through the line before
the conclusion of the selected
time interval.
PROGRAMMABLE FLUSH
AFTER DOSE
IS DELIVERED
Selected water volume delivered
after the feeding dose limit is deliv-
ered. (For this feature, water is deliv-
ered at a fixed rate of 375 mL/hr.)
8. Follow steps 6 and 7. At Set
Volume, enter the desired volume
of water to be delivered. When
Time Interval is selected, press
until doSE is displayed. The
amount in Set Volume is deliv-
ered after feeding dose limit is
reached.
To deactivate Hydration and
Programmable Flush , at Time
Interval, press until nOne is
displayed.
9. Check Water Volume Delivered.
Press SELECT until Volume
Delivered is displayed. This will be
reset to 0 when Feeding Volume
Delivered is reset (see step 2).
10. Check Water Accumulated
Volume. Press SELECT until
Accumulated Volume is displayed.
If desired, reset to 0 by pressing
RESET .
11. Check Feeding Rate. Press
SELECT until Feeding Rate is dis-
