2 Operation

If you press the 

Snooze

button 

within 30 minutes after the

setting time, the alarm time will be extended for 5 minutes. Each
further press of the 

Snooze

button 

extends the wake up func-

tion for a further 5 minutes. You can extend the alarm time for up
to a maximum of 30 minutes.

If an alarm is activated, you can press the 

Off

button 

to switch off the

alarm function. The settings of the alarm function are kept for the next
day. If you do not press the 

Off

button 

e.g. if you wake up before

the alarm time and forget to press the 

Off

button 

the alarm function

is turned off automatically after about 30 minutes.

Hint:

You can also use the 

Off

button 

to switch off the light, radio and

sound functions.

If you are taking a short break or want to take a little nap, you can set
a short-time alarm.

1.

Press the 

Zizz

button 

and the Zizz icon appears on the display

.

2.

Pressing the 

Zizz

button 

once sets an alarm to go off in 15

minutes.

3.

Every time you press the button, the time until the alarm goes off is
extended by 15 minutes.

4.

The maximum alarm time that can be set for a short-time alarm is
90 minutes.

5.

If you do not press the 

Zizz

button 

for 3 seconds, the set Zizz

function is activated. In the Zizz function, the settings for the alarm
sound and brightness are preset. See “

Setting the alarms

” (page

13-14) for information on setting the alarms.

If you press the 

Dimmer

button 

, the display illumination switches on

and changes each time you press the 

Dimmer

button 

again from

bright (green) to dim (green), bright (orange) to dim (orange) and display
illumination to off.
