Setting the language, date and time
Before using the camera for the first time, you should select your
preferred language from the menu and set the current date and
time. Both settings are performed in the “SETTINGS” menu.

With the camera switched on, press the
button to open the
menus.

Select the menu “SETTINGS”
using the

button.
Formatting
►
Select the entry “FORMATTING” in the “SETTINGS” menu using
the buttons or and press the
button. The formatting
menu opens.
►
Select the symbol
using the buttons
or
to format the
memory card or select
if you do not want to format the
memory card.
CAUTION!
If you format the memory all the data stored there will be
deleted.
Ensure that no important data is still in the memory or on
the SD card.
Factory settings
►
Select the entry “FACTORY SETTINGS” in the “SETTINGS” menu
using the buttons or and press the
button. The factory
settings menu opens.
►
Select the symbol
using the buttons
or
and press the
button to return the camera to the factory settings.
