Basic settings
The radio must be switched off to carry out the different settings.
You can change the following settings:
• Time
• Date
•
SDA (special date alarm)
•
Automatic update function via the Radio Data System on/off
•
Set display brightness (dimmer)
•
Set automatic dim function yes/no
•
Start time auto dimmer
•
End time auto dimmer
• 12/24-hour
mode
NOTE
If no button is activated in the settings menu within 10 seconds, the
menu is automatically terminated. Settings made up to this point are
saved. You must go through the whole menu again to make any further
changes. Operation
Setting the time manually
Press the
MODE
button. The time display begins to flash.
Press the
button to put the time forward by one minute.
Press the
button to put the time back by one minute.
Hold down the
or

button respectively to put the time forward or back
by 10 minutes.
Press the
MODE

button again to save the setting and move on to setting
the date.
Setting the date
Once you have set the time, press the
MODE

button to set the date.
The currently set date will start to flash.
Press the
button to put the date forward by one day.
Press the
button to put the date back by one day.
Hold down the

button respectively to put the date forward or back by
10 days.
Press the
MODE
button once to confirm the set date and to set the special
date alarm (SDA) immediately afterwards.
Setting the SDA (special date alarm)
The SDA function can save up to 6 (recurring) dates such as birthdays. The de-
vice has an alarm tone to indicate the special date on the relevant day and can be
switched off with any button. If the alarm is not acknowledged, it will be repeated
for 10 minutes every hour from 08:00 hours until 23:00 hours.
