Basic functions
The prerequisites for a call being entered are:
−
the answering machine does not answer the call.
−
the caller’s telephone has the CLIP function (the caller's number is
shown on the display).
In order to open the call list, press the
key.
Use the
keys to scroll through the entries in the call list and press the
talk key
to call the desired entry.
12.4.4. Dialling from the phone book
For adding entries to the phone book (see also “14. Phone book” on page
169).
Press the
key.
The phone book opens and the first number is displayed.
Use the
keys to scroll to the desired telephone number.
Now press the
talk key to call the selected entry.
12.5. Hanging up
Press the call key
(red) to end the call.
The call time appears on the display for a few seconds.
NOTE!
If you make a call with nearly discharged batteries, you will hear a
double warning tone every minute during the call.
End the call, place the handset back on the base station and allow
the batteries to charge.
12.6. Answering the telephone
The assigned ring tone will sound in the event of an incoming call and the
call LED will start to flash.
Pick up the handset to accept the call.
In the menu
HS SETTINGS / AUTO-ANSWER
on the handset, it
is necessary for the function
AUTO-ANSWER
to be activated.
If the handset is not located in the base station or the function
AUTO-
ANSWER
has been deactivated, press the talk key
(green).
12.7. Caller identity function
You can see the telephone number of a caller on the display (if you have
requested the CLIP function from your network provider and if the caller also
has a telephone connection with CLIP function and has not suppressed his
telephone number).
If the caller is saved in the phone book, you will see the name of the caller.
