Registering handsets


11. Registering handsets
NOTE!
The supplied handset has already been registered in the factory
under the name "Medion 1".
You can register up to five handsets with the base station. How to register a
GAP compatible DECT handset with the base station:

Press the
PA G I N G
key on the base station for approx. 5 seconds to
enter the registration mode.

Press the key on the handset.

Use the

keys to scroll to the option
REGISTRATION
and confirm
with
OK
.

Enter the system PIN (0000) and confirm with
OK
.
It is also possible to register DECT GAP telephones from third party
manufacturers with the base station. Refer to the respective manufacturer's
instructions.
NOTE!
When registering a different handset, the registration process for
THIS base station remains the same.
If you register different handsets from various manufacturers
with the base station, we cannot guarantee the full and faultless
functionality of all handsets despite the GAP standard.
12. Basic functions
12.1. Switching the handset on and off
You can switch off the handset if it is not in the base station.

To switch off the handset, keep the call key (red) pressed down for
a few seconds.

To switch the handset back on, press the call key (red) down for
a few seconds. After a short moment, the standard display reappears on
the screen.

You can also switch the handset back on by placing it back in the base
station.
