7.5. Connection

To avoid damage and malfunctions, only connect the connecting cable
when the monitor and computer are switched off.
7.5.1. Connecting the signal cable

Plug the signal cable into one of the connections on the monitor:
–
HDMI
–
DVI
–
DP

Plug the other end into the appropriate connections on the computer.
Only one type of connection can be used at a time.
7.5.2. Connecting the audio cable

Plug the audio cable into the connection on the monitor and into the corre-
sponding connection on the computer. If an HDMI or DisplayPort signal cable is
used, no separate audio cable is required.
