− Do not allow children less than 8 years of age near the
appliance unless they are under constant supervision.
− In combination mode or grilling mode, children may only
use the appliance under adult supervision due to high
temperatures.
− The turntable becomes very hot after cooking with the grill!
Always use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when you
remove the turntable from the cooking compartment.
WARNING!
Risk of fi re!
There is a risk of fi re if very high temperatures/hot appliance
surfaces are not handled correctly.
− Do not place objects on top of the microwave. Ensure clearance
of 30 cm above and 20 cm on either side of the appliance for
adequate ventilation. The surface on which the appliance is
placed should be at a minimum height of 85 cm (see
fi g. C
). Do
not cover or block the openings on the appliance.
− The appliance must be placed with its back wall against a wall.
− The microwave is designed as a free-standing appliance. Do
not operate it in a built-in cabinet or a cupboard.
− Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
− The microwave is not designed to be operated with an external
timer switch or a separate remote control system.
− When heating or cooking foods in fl ammable materials such as
plastic or paper containers, check on the microwave frequently
due to the possibility of ignition.
− The microwave may only be used to heat food suitable for the
microwave in suitable containers and dishes.
− Do not use baking paper in grill or combination mode.
− The microwave is designed to heat food and drinks. Drying
food or clothing and heating heat packs, slippers, sponges,
