17. Never place on hot surfaces or
close to open flames.
18. Never let hands, hair, loose
clothing or other objects come
into contact with the blades.
The blades are extremely sharp
for optimal cutting results.
APPLICATION
The Livington Slice & Dice combines 5 different
functions in a single appliance. Slip-resistant feet
on the underside guarantee secure footing on your
work surface with every application. Before using the
appliance for the first time, clean all components with
a commercial detergent under running water, with the
exception of the motor unit.
CAUTION: Be sure to close the Livington Slice &
Dice and replace all protective covers before turning
it on.
Cutting inserts
Yellow cutting insert (Fig. G) - for cutting cubes
Green cutting insert (Fig. H) - for cutting slices and
broad spirals
Orange cutting insert (Fig. I) - for cutting grates and
vegetable spaghetti
Remove the funnel top
1. Press the release button on the top of the
Livington Slice & Dice to unlock the funnel top.
2. After unlocking, the funnel top can be easily
removed (Fig. J).
Removing or changing the cutting inserts
1. Remove the funnel attachment from the Livington
Slice & Dice.
2. The orange or green cutting insert can be easily
removed from the Livington Slice & Dice (Fig.
K). To remove the yellow cutting insert, press
and hold the release button on the top of the
appliance to unlock and remove it (Fig. L).
Inserting the cutting inserts
1. Remove the funnel attachment from the Livington
Slice & Dice.
2. Insert the orange or green cutting insert into the
Livington Slice & Dice (Fig. M). When inserting
the yellow cutting insert, make sure that the
arrows on the insert and the appliance are
aligned when inserted (Fig. N). Important: Press
down after inserting until you hear a clicking
sound. This indicates that the cutting insert is
properly engaged.
3. Replace the funnel top on the unit and push it
down. You will hear a clicking sound when the
funnel top clicks into place.
Inserting the collection container
1. When inserting the collection container, make
sure that it is locked to the Livington Slice & Dice,
otherwise the unit will not work (Fig. O).
Cutting vegetable spaghetti or broad spirals
1. Insert the cutting insert into the Livington Slice &
Dice (orange insert for spaghetti, green insert for
broad spirals).
2. Place the collection container in the appliance.
3. Place the funnel top onto the appliance with the
funnel top centered over the insert (Fig. P, Q) and
press down. You will hear a clicking sound when
the funnel top clicks into place.
4. Remove the plunger from the funnel top and
place the desired food item into the funnel top.
5. Press the On/Off switch to switch on the
Livington Slice & Dice. Use the plunger to gently
push the food item down until it has been cut
completely.
6. The sliced vegetable spaghetti or spirals are
collected in the collection container.
TIP: For best results, use thicker vegetables such
as cucumbers or courgettes for cutting vegetable
spaghetti or broad spirals. When using thinner
vegetables, such as carrots, make sure to place them
in the centre of the feeder.
