Ultrasonic coupling gel should be applied to the lower abdomen of the patient before
measurement and the Main Unit should be placed as shown in Fig. 4.14a and Fig. 4.14b. Note that
the top of the Main Unit is directed towards the patient's head and the handle is directed towards
the patient's feet.
4.2.4.2 Pre-scan Positioning Mode
The Pre-scan Positioning Mode can help the operator to better position the patient
’s bladder for
more accurate calculation results. Press the
Scan
button on the Main Unit and hold, the upper left
corner of the screen shows the scan icon "S", you can enter the Pre-scan Positioning Mode, as
shown in Fig. 4.15 Pre-scan Positioning Mode.
