TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Possible Cause Solution
Yellow “wrench” symbol
active and prolonged
acoustic signal.
Handpiece back in place
during treatment. The
handpiece has been placed
in the appropriate housing
available on the system with
the pedal pressed and a
power and/or irrigation level
higher than 0.
Release the pedal. Remove
the handpiece from housing
available on the system and
press the pedal again to
continue with the treatment.
FLUSH
cycle started with
handpiece placed in the
appropriate housing
available on the system.
With handpiece put back, the
FLUSH
cycle will not start.
If you DO NOT want to
perform a
FLUSH
cycle:
• Press twice the button
FLUSH
to exit short
FLUSH
mode.
• Press once the button
FLUSH to exit long
FLUSH mode.
If you want to perform a flush
cycle:
• Remove the handpiece
from its seat.
• Press the pedal and
release it to start the
procedure.
Malfunction peristaltic pump. Check that there are no
impediments for the rotation
of the pump.
Check that the pump and
the two pipes are correctly
installed.
Faults on the electrical
network or excessive
electrostatic discharge or
internal faults.
Turn off and wait 5 seconds
before switching on the
appliance again
If the warning persists,
contact an Authorised
MECTRON Service Centre.
No communication with the
keyboard.
Contact an Authorised
MECTRON Service Centre.
Unforeseen value of the
supply voltage.
Replace the handpiece.
If the problem persists,
contact an Authorised
MECTRON Service Centre.
