Press the function enable button.

No function should operate.
Press and hold the function enable button, and press the platform up button.
Result:
The platform should raise.
Press and hold the function enable button, and press the platform down button.
Result:
The platform should lower. The descent alarm should sound while the platform is
lowering. The platform stop at the height is approximately 6 feet (2 m) from the ground. The
descent delay alarm will sound.
Note:
Be sure the area below the platform is clear of personnel and obstructions before continuing.
Press and hold the function enable button, and press the platform down button.
Result:
The platform should lower to end. The descent delay alarm should sound while the
platform is lowering.
Test the Emergency Lowering
Activate the up function and raise the platform approximately 60 cm.
Push the emergency lowering button located on the ground controls side of the machine.
Result:
The platform should lower. The descent alarm will not sound.
Turn the key switch to platform control.
At the Platform Controls
Test Emergency Stop
Push in the platform red Emergency Stop button to the “OFF” position.
Result:
No functions should operate.
Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to the “ON” position.
Result:
The LED indicator light should come on.
Test the Horn
Push the horn button.
Result:
The horn should sound.
Test Function Enable and Up/Down Functions
Do not hold the function enable switch on the control handle.
Slowly move the control handle in the direction indicated by the blue up arrow, then in the
direction indicated by the yellow down arrow.
Result:
No functions should operate.
Press the lift function select button.
Press and hold the function enable switch on the control handle.
Slowly move the control handle in the direction indicated by the blue up arrow.
Result:
The platform should raise. The pothole guards should deploy.
Release the control handle.
Result:
The platform should stop raising.
