To use chargers at 35 amps, you will need to connect to a 220-240 Volt outlet. This will allow the LEMC3548
to charge your mower at 35 amp-48V (standard). The charger will draw around 7 amps for the LEMC3548
from the 220-240V wall outlet.
DO NOT USE an extension cord with the chargers (see above note)!!!
On picture Fig. E below notice the charger has air fins on the top of unit for cooling and 2 cords – 1 from
the left side and 1 from the right side. The cord with the

into the charging
port of the mower and the second cord plugs into the electrical wall outlet. The charger also has a light on
the front of the unit – RED indicates charging and GREEN indicates battery is charged.
7. Proper connection and disconnection of charger unit onto the mower:
•
Connect the charger to the mower charging port with the Red Anderson connector
(see Fig. D).
Plug charger into 220-240V wall outlet
. You will see a red light on the charger unit. This will indicate
the charger is functioning properly.

When unit is fully charged, the light will turn GREEN. To disconnect the charger, unplug charger from
outlet FIRST then proceed to unplug the charger from mower charging port.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU DO NOT UNPLUG CHARGER FROM WALL OUTLET FIRST, the GREEN light
will stay on and the charger may not reset for the next charge.
If this occurs, unplug the charger from
the wall outlet and wait until the GREEN light turns off (NOTE: this may take up to 40 seconds). NOTE – If
you have purchased a charger with a manufacture date of January 2019 or later, the charger will reset
without having to unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
•
After charging is complete, the red charger connector can be removed form mower. If connector is not
disconnected from the mower then the safety arm on the charger connector will not allow the mower to
drive and a fault code will appear on display. Simply remove the connector from the mower and the
fault will be corrected and drives will function as normal. Refer to drawing Fig. D.
