When the PLB is on, push the ON button again to make the indicator light flash an
SOS signal pattern.

Push and hold to start the self test feature, a flash of white light indicates that the self

Activating the Fastfind PLB
Only ever activate in situations of grave or imminent danger.
Aktivieren der FastFind PLB
Aktivieren Sie die PLB nur im Ernstfall oder drohender Gefahr.
1) Flip up the red pull handle, Pull the antenna cover off
IMPORTANT The antenna cover is an anti-tamper seal, once broken it can not be
refitted.
Drücken Sie die rote Schlaufe nach oben, ziehen Sie die Antennenabdeckung ab.
WICHTIG! Die Antennenabdeckung ist ein Kunststoff-Siegel. Wenn dies gebrochen
ist, dann kann es nicht einfach ersetzt werden.
2) Hold the end of the antenna. Unwrap the antenna until it stands vertical
CAUTION Spring action antenna deployment; tilt the PLB away from your face
before deploying the antenna.
Halten Sie das Ende der Antenne und wickeln Sie die Antenne aus, so dass sie
vertikal ausgerichtet ist.
ACHTUNG! Die Antenne springt heraus; halten Sie hierbei die PLB, bevor Sie die

3) Press the ON button
Transmission of the first emergency alert message takes place 50 seconds after initial
activation, in the event of an accidental or false activation this delay allows time for
the user to turn off the Fast Find before the first alert is transmitted.
