6. Operation
6.1 Operation examples
Switch on the Computer (switch ON, see Picture 9 - ref.<
A
> on page 18). The
Computer will run a <1.5> second test by switching on all display segments and
activating the buzzer. Then, total working hours will be displayed for <3> seconds,
finally the concentration in Kg/Ha of the product being distributed (which will be “0” if
the machine is stopped) will appear on the display.
There are 24 upper display bars (12 on the left, 12 on the right). When a certain ratio
of kg per hectare (10,000 square meters) is set, the bars arrange themselves so that
the centre of the scale (6 bars on for each side) shows the set value, adopting the
entire scale.
EXAMPLE 1
: BY PROGRAMMING 60 Kg/ha
EXAMPLE 2
: BY PROGRAMMING 120 Kg/ha
If, during operation, the “+/–“ switches (
Picture 9 - ref. <
B
> and <
E
> page 18) are
used to vary the Kg/Ha to be distributed on one or both sides, the bars on that side
flash and a new value is displayed (according to the set scale). Flashing will continue
until the quantity of Kg/Ha of the relevant sector has been returned to the value
programmed using the
key. The figure below shows an example with 60 Kg/Ha
and the quantity for the right-hand sector is momentarily changed to 90 Kg/ha using
the +/- switches:
The flashing bars indicate that
the Kg/Ha programmed on the
right sector are 90, according to
the scale of EXAMPLE 1 above.
