Maintenance
Before cleaning or servicing the subwoofer, always observe the following safety information:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work
is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must
perform repairs.
Fuse Replacement
If the fuse must be replaced, observe that only fuses of the indicated type and rated current (see Technical Data) must
be used.
Never repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• After mains disconnection (pull the mains plug!), pull the low-voltage plug from the mains connection (2) at the
device. Lever out the fuse holder at the mains connection (2) with the defective fuse.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Now carefully re-insert the fuse holder with the new fuse.
• Only then connect the mains line to the device again and plug into a mains socket.
Cleaning
Only clean the subwoofer’s outside with a soft, dry cloth or brush. You can clean off the carpet cover of the casing
with a vacuum cleaner.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the casing.
