Handling
• Never switch on the subwoofer or connect it to a mains socket right after it was taken from a cold to a warm room.
The resulting condensation may destroy the device.
Let the subwoofer reach room temperature before plugging it in and switching it on. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended
grip areas.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
• Make sure the subwoofer is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. During operation, keep a minimum distance
of 15 cm around the device. The ventilation openings and fan opening at the rear of the casing must not be
covered.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
Maintenance
Regularly verify technical safety of the subwoofer, e.g. for damage to the mains cable and casing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the subwoofer must be turned off and precautions are
to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally. Pull the mains plug from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device is visibly damaged
• the device no longer works
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
• after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
