Handling
•
Never plug the mains plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a
warm environment. The condensation generated could destroy the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has evap-
orated.
•
Never disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Only unplug it by pulling on
the plug.
•
Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device over a period of time.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
•
Do not listen to excessively loud music for a long period of time. This may damage your hearing.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the mixer, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, put the device out of operation immediately
and secure it against inadvertent operation. Pull the power plug out of the socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•
there is visible damage to the device or to the mains cable
•
the device no longer functions
•
the device has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
•
the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain
