Setting up the device
Ensure proper ventilation when setting up the device.
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as carpets, beds, etc.
In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table-
cloths, curtains etc. This prevents heat removal from the product and can lead to overheat-
ing (risk of fire).
Do not drill any holes or screw any screws into the housing of the mixer to mount the
device. This can damage the device and impair the operational safety.
Make sure that the device is set up securely positioned on a steady surface.
Should the mixer fall down, people might get injured.
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cables are not squeezed or dam-
aged by sharp edges.
Always install the cables so that nobody can trip over them or become entangled in them.
Risk of injury.
When selecting a place to set up the device, avoid direct, intensive sunlight, vibration, dust,
heat, cold and moisture.
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transform-
ers, motors, cordless telephones or radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the mixer, as
they can cause interferences in the mixer.
Never place the device on valuable or sensitive furniture surfaces without sufficient pro-
tection.
The mixer is suitable for installation in a desk and as a table device. For fastening when mounting on a desk, there
are the 4 fastening holes in the upper covering board.
Connection
Disconnect the mixer and all other devices to be connected to it from the mains supply (pull
the power plugs) before connecting the devices to each other.
Only use properly shielded cables with suitable connectors to connect the inputs and out-
puts. Using the wrong cables can cause interferences.
To avoid distortion or mismatches that could damage the mixer, only devices equipped
with suitable inputs and outputs of the same connection type may be connected to the
inputs and outputs of the mixer.
Also observe the values stated in the “Specifications”.
The following applies to all RCA connections:
•
The white RCA socket on the mixer is the connection for the left channel.
•
The red RCA socket on the mixer is the connection for the right channel.
