Slice the firewall grommet on the top side to the rubber as shown in FIG 6-2.
This will allow you to move the required harnesses from the Busbar to the dash and up to the
amplifiers. You can use black electrical tape to seal the slice in the grommet now or during final
inspection.

STEP 2
– Push the radio and amplifier connections through the grommet. Leave them
accessible while you complete the connections at the busbar shown in FIG 9-2.

NOTE
– In some vehicles there is an unused grommet near the passenger foot
well shown in FIG 6-3. DO NOT use this due to the placement of the subwoofer
enclosure. Use the grommet picture that has a wire look present shown in FIG 6-2.
