New Mazda6

Rear console removal

1. Disconnect the connector and remove the wiring harness clip.

2. Remove the screws A, B and screw C.

3. Open the console lid and remove the screws D.

4. Pull the rear console in the direction of the arrow in the order of

(1), then detaching clip E.

5. Pull up the rear console in the direction of the arrow (2) shown

in the figure, move the rear console in the direction of the arrow

(3, and remove it avoiding the parking brake lever.

Pull the audio unit outward, detach tab, clip from the

dashboard, and then remove the audio unit.
