Your appliance is a wall-mounted appliance. Select a suitable location that is not susceptible to moisture
and is away from drapes, furniture and high traffic areas.
NOTE: Follow all National and local electrical codes.
Note: The installation must be done by two persons at least.
Step 1:
Take the fireplace out of the package, and place it on a flat, non-abrasive surface.
Step 2: Find a safe location.
Minimum clearance on each side: 20” (50 cm).
Minimum clearance below: 20” (50 cm).
Minimum clearance above: 40” (100 cm).
Minimum clearance from the front: 40” (100 cm).
Choose a location near an outlet so never use an extension cord.
DO NOT position the unit directly below a power outlet.
See Safety Information on pages 4 and 5 for warnings about safe placement, safe installation, and proper use of this
product.
Step 3: Remove off the screws on both sides with a Phillips screwdriver, then take off the wall bracket. The bracket
must be held tightly while screws are being removed, to avoid them from falling on the fireplace and causing damage
or injury.
Step 4:
Find a suitable place with a stable base for wall mounting.
Align the wall bracket horizontally using a spirit level and mark the points for attachment. Make sure that there are no
lines (electricity, water, heating, etc.) running at the marked points.
Note: This bracket MUST have the slots facing upward.
Now drill the holes to match the dowels you are using.
Insert suitable screws through the holes in the wall bracket and directly into the wall plugs. Make sure the bracket is
aligned. Tighten all screws securely with a screwdriver.
Note:
We recommend that two capable adults perform this procedure.
Step 5A: With the help of a capable adult, lift the fireplace and align the two hooks on the back of the fireplace with
the slots on the wall bracket. Carefully set the hooks into the slots.
Step 5B:
Secure the fireplace to the wall bracket with two ST4x8 metal screws (D), one on each side. Thread the
screws through the fireplace and into the wall bracket side tabs. Tighten both screws carefully with a Phillips screwdri -
ver.
