Hint: A new appliance may smoke
slightly when used for the fi rst time.
To reduce the chance of smoking,
heat the appliance for 10 minutes
and then let cool for approximately
half an hour.
Use
• Place appliance on a fl at surface
• Unroll the cord completely and
connect to appliance (3).
• Plug cord into a mains outlet.
• Turn on one or both switches (the
corresponding indicators will light),
noting that the two switches ope-
rate independently (PICTURE B).

• Preheat the appliance for 15 minutes
before inserting pans (PICTURE C).

• Place the food in the pans (9;11),
(raclette and/or reblochonade)
• Place the pans in the appliance.
They possess a small block, so that
the pans can be pushed not too far
into the appliance (PICTURE D).

• If the food is well grilled remove
the pans. Use a wooden spatula to
remove the food from the pans.
• You can grill toasts in the raclette
pans, cook fruit through or over, fry
eggs or potatoes and many other
things.
• You may serve the grilled meat with
different sauces, salad. Raclette
is also served with raw ham or
„Bündner“ meat, little oignons and
pickles, as well as a dry wine.
• On the upper glass tray (7) can be
placed a heating resistant bowl
with potatoes, pasta, noodles or other
ingredients to keep warm (PICTURE E).
