Protect the device from heat, naked flames, di-
rect sunlight, extreme temperatures and impacts.
Also protect the motor unit from wet conditions
and persistent moisture.

Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the
device or the connecting cable.
BEFORE INITIAL USE
Please Note!

There may still be some production residues
on the device. To avoid harmful effects to your
health, clean the accessories thoroughly before
using them for the first time (see the "Cleaning
and Storage" chapter).
Before you first enjoy any freshly ground coffee
beans, nuts, spices or salt, we recommend that you
carry out a trial run with one of the foodstuffs to
remove any possible production residues. To do this,
follow the instructions in the “Use” chapter.
Please Note! Do not consume these chopped-up
foodstuffs!

When the device is first used, production-re-
lated additives may cause a slight odour
to be produced. This is normal and not a
device defect.
Then clean the device in the manner described in
“Cleaning and Storage”.
USE
Please Note!

Check the device and the connecting cable for
damage each time before putting it into opera-
tion. Only use if all components are undamaged!
■
Never place the device on a soft surface. The
ventilation openings on the bottom of the device
must not be covered.
