Should the power tool which is con-
nected to the mains power fall into
water, cut off the power supply imme-
diately. Do not attempt to pull it out
of the water while it is still connected
to the mains power! Otherwise there
is a danger of electric shock.
■
Never touch the power tool and the
connecting cable with wet hands
when the power tool is connected to
the mains power. Otherwise there is a
danger of electric shock.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard.
■
Check the connecting cable for dam-
age each time before putting it into
operation. If you find any damage or
wear, do not use it to prevent injuries.
■
Do not cover the power tool during
charging or operation in order to
prevent it from catching fire.
■
Only use and store the power tool
and the connecting cable in an ambi-
ent temperature of from 7°C to 40°C.
■
The power tool must be switched off
in the following cases:
○
before checking the integrity of the
device and before doing any clean-
ing or maintenance;
○
if there are any faults or the device
comes into contact with foreign
bodies and then has to be inspect-
ed.
■
The power tool is only guaranteed to
work perfectly if the manufacturer’s
original accessories are used.
■
Store the power tool only in closed
rooms.
■
Do not expose the power tool to any
moisture. Only use it in dry condi-
tions.
■
Protect the power tool and accesso-
ries from impacts.
■
Do not place heavy objects on the
power tool or its accessories.
■
Do not connect the power tool to a
plug socket during a thunderstorm.
■
Do not carry the power tool in a pock-
et to prevent accidental activation.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even if the power tool is used correctly,
there is always a certain residual risk that
cannot be ruled out entirely. The nature
and design of the power tool presents
the following potential hazards:
• contact with the rotating drill chuck
(crush injury),
• reaching into the rotating power tool
(cut injury),
• damage to your hearing if prescribed
hearing protection is not worn,
• breathing in drilling particles,
• electric shock from touching non-insu-
lated electrical components.
