Toasting Frozen Bread
To toast frozen bread, you do not have to change the darkness. Simple press the
DEFROST
button after the operating lever has locked into place. The lights of the
DEFROST
and
CANCEL
button will illuminate. The toasting process will be extended.
Toasting one bread side/a bagel
If you would like to toast just one side of the bread or a bagel, press the
BAGEL
button
immediately after the lever has been pushed down and has locked into place. Only the external
heating elements will be activated, the element in the middle stays cold. The lights of the
BAGEL
and
CANCEL
buttons are on during the toasting process.
Cleaning

Attention! Never submerge the device, the mains cord, and the plug in water or
other liquids.

When cleaning, do not use any scouring abrasive or scouring cleaners.
❐
Do not use any metallic objects.
❐
Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐
Allow the device to cool off before cleaning.
❐
The crumb tray is not suitable for the dishwasher.
❐
Do not spray any cleaners directly on the toaster.
• Wipe the device off from the outside with a clean, damp cloth.
• Check the mains cord for damages on a regular basis.
• Empty the crumb tray on a regular basis:
1. Carefully pull out the crumb tray.
2. Remove the crumbs. If necessary, wipe the tray off with a damp cloth or rinse it off under
running water using a mild detergent.
3. Then wipe the tray off until completely dry.
4. Return the crumb tray to its previous position.
The cord can be wound up under the device after use or when storing the device.
