Before you begin installing the seat
into your vehicle, did you check:
Your child’s weight and height?
4-30 lb
(1.8-13.6 kg)
and
32 in.
(81.3 cm)
or less in height
Your child’s fi t? See page 9.
Do you need to make adjustments
to the harness height or the buckle
position?
If Using the Load Leg,
Pull it Out from Under the
Base
Do not
use the load leg on top
of vehicle storage compart-
ments. Review your vehicle
owner’s manual.
Place Base in Vehicle
Rear Facing
Center the base in the chosen
seating position.
Check Base Angle
Indicator
for Correct
Recline
You may have to adjust the
base to achieve the right
recline angle.
From the back of the base,
squeeze the base recline
handle and lift or lower front of
base. The angle indicator will
turn green when correct angle
is achieved.
