02 - Connecting current transformers
Option 2.2 - Connecting CT’s on solar panels
Click the supplied current transformer around the L1 phase wire of the main power
supply, after the main circuit breaker/main switch, such that the entire grid connection
is measured (see fig.1)
Connect the current transformer cable to port 1 of Maxem.
Turn off the main circuit breaker of switch of the fuse box. And open the fuse box.
Repeat these steps for L2 and L3 in case of a 3-phase grid connection. Phase 2 is
connected on port 2. Phase 3 is connected on port 3.
Make sure the current transformers are connected in the right direction.

Option 2.1 - Connecting CT’s on the grid connection
Click the supplied current transformer around the L1 wire of the circuit breaker
to the solar inverter (see fig. 2). No other loads may be connected to this circuit
breaker.
Turn off the main power supply terminal of the fuse box.

Connect the current transformer to the corresponding circuit breaker in the fuse
box. No other loads may be connected to this circuit breaker.
Make sure the current transformers are connected in the right direction.

Connect the current transformer to port 4 of Maxem. Repeat these steps for
L2 and L3; connect L2 to port 5, connect L3 to port 6. Make sure each current
transformer of each phase is connected to the associated port on Maxem.

Connect the current transformer to the corresponding port on Maxem. For
instance;. port 6, when solar is connected to L3 on the grid connection. Or port
5 for L2.
