ALARMS MANAGEMENT
When getting access to
ERR
alarm’s menu, you can display the active alarms collected in two directories
ALL C1
for circuit 1 and
ALL C2
for circuit 2, under the alarm list.
13.1
E000 – REMOTE ON/OFF
The E000 code will appear when the unit is controlled from a remote digital input.
13.2
E001 – HIGH PRESSURE
If the on board pressure transductor detects a pressure higher than 39,5bar, the alarm will be activated.
In this case the compressor will stop immediately via software. The alarm will reset when the pressure decreases under 33,5bar.
If the number of alarm interventions in one-hour is equal to 3 times, it will become manual reset.
13.3
E002 – LOW PRESSURE
If the on board pressure transducer detects a pressure lower than value set from the controller (
A16=5
bar by default in cooling
mode, 1.5 bar in heating mode) the alarm will be activated. In this case the compressor will stop immediately. The alarm will reset
when the pressure goes over a hysteresis of 2.0bar.
If the alarm occurs more than 3 times per hour, the alarm becomes a manual reset.
13.4
E003 – THERMAL PROTECTION OF FIRST ON/OFF COMPRESSOR IN BOTH CIRCUITS
When the thermal protection of compressor C3/circuit 1 or of compressor C4/circuit 2 is activated, the alarm will raise.
13.5
E004 – FAN MOTOR ALARM
When the fan driver is broken, the corresponding alarm will be immediately activated, therefore please check the manual of the
driver for further information.
13.6
E005 – ANTIFREEZE ALARM
The alarm will be activated when the outlet water temperature sensor is less than 4°C. It turns off when the temperature becomes
higher than +7°C.
13.7
E006 – FLOW SWITCH ALARM
The water side flow switch is already installed inside the unit and must NOT be tampered or bypassed in any way. The flow switch
is bypassed for 10 seconds from the start-up of the machine. The alarm signalization occurs after 5 seconds of error persistence
(lack of water flow, air in the circuit, etc.). The alarm is automatically reset for the first 2 times and goes off after 5 seconds. If the
alarm occurs more than 3 times per hour, the manual reset of the alarm is required.
The alarm is not active for 10 seconds after activating the circulator.
13.8
[E008] DRIVER LIMITATION
If the compressor does not achieve the speed to ramp value which is expected within 30 minutes, the alarm becomes active and
the compressor will stop for its safety.
If the alarm occurs more than 3 times per hour, the alarm becomes a manual reset.
13.9
[E013] THERMAL PROTECTION OF SECOND ON/OFF COMPRESSOR IN BOTH CIRCUITS
When the thermal protection of compressor C5/circuit 1 or of compressor C6/circuit 2 is activated, the alarm will raise.
13.10
[E018] HIGH TEMPERATURE WATER SIDE
The alarm will be activated when the outlet water temperature sensor becomes higher than 65°C for at least 50 seconds. It turns
off when the water outlet temperature decreases below 62°C.
13.11
[E016] USAGE PUMP 1 THERMAL PROTECTION
When the driver of the AC circulator is broken, the corresponding alarm will be immediately activated, see the manual of the
driver for further information.
13.12
[E641] HIGH PRESSURE ALARM SWITCH (IN SERIES TO THE COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE TEMP. SENSOR)
When the built-in pressure switch of circuit 1 or of that of circuit 2 detects a value higher which is than 41,4bar, the alarm will
raise. In this case the compressors and the fan motors will immediately stop operation by the electromechanical devices and the
E641
error code will be shown on the display. The alarm goes off when the pressure decreases below 30bar. After resolving the
problem, you need to switch off the unit and then to switch on it from the disconnecting switch (please wait at least 1 minute
between each consecutive shutdown and start-up).
13.13
[E611÷E682] SENSORS’ ALARMS
The alarm will be activated in the case of short or open circuit of any connected and enabled sensor.
The alarm will be activated also when the temperature becomes higher than the sensors’ upper limit of 100°C or less than the
lower limit which is -50°C.
A configured temperature sensor for DHW production mode does give any alarm if the DHW production mode is not enabled.
