Chapter 3, Using Your Matrox MC-100 Hardware
Overview
Matrox MC-100 is operated through an on-screen display (OSD) using the OSD
buttons, which are located on the MC-100 unit. MC-100 also features status
LEDs (see
“Understanding the MC-100 status LEDs
”), and eight DIP switches
for performing various functions (see
“Using the MC-100 DIP switches
”).
Understanding the MC-100 status LEDs
Matrox MC-100 features the following status LEDs:
•
SDI 1 and SDI 2
$
Green
An input source is detected.
$
Red
An input source is not connected.
•
SDI 3 and SDI 4
$
Green
The output is supported.
$
Red
The output is not supported.
• Power
The LED is green when power is supplied to MC-100 and the
hardware is functioning properly.

Note
If the MC-100 unit exceeds normal operating temperature, all four SDI
LEDs will flash red as a warning. For more information see
