USING TEMPERATURE PROBE
1. Plug the temp probe into the socket located on the right side of the control panel, after selecting the
desired cook feature and temperature. Before setting the probe alert the probe must be plugged in.
Be sure that the probe's cord is knots-free. (Not applicable with the Dehydrate function)
NOTE: There is no need to set a cook time as the unit turns off the heating element automatically
and warns you when the probe detects that your food has reached the internal temperature you set.
2. Click the TEMP ACE button and shows 80° C as default. Use the arrows up and down to pick
desired cook temperature (35° C -85° C ).
NOTE: To adjust the function temperature, press the TEMP button again to exit. The unit will return to
temperature settingfor the function.
NOTE: The Smokeless Grill is easy to cook, so these internally recommended Temperature settings
are dependent on how this unit cooks, and may appear lower than the temperature doneness
recommended for other appliances. The temperature of the food inside begins to increase as it rests.
It is known as carry-over cooking and happens when food is left to rest for at least 5 minutes to be
removed off the heat.
3. Place the appropriate accessory in the unit for your selected cooking feature and close the cover.
To start preheating press START / STOP. While the device is preheating, insert the probe in the
middle of the thickest part of the largest piece of protein, close (but not touching) the bone. DO NOT
insert the probe either vertically or at an angle, as it does not provide accurate reading.
4. When the device has preheated and the "Add Food" flashes on the screen, open the cover, put
food inside the device and close the cover over the cord of the probe. The monitor will now show the
reading of the temp probe as it cooks the food.
