8. Remove the conveyor belt from the side and carry out a general cleaning of the equipment and its components.
After all the above steps have been carried out, manually remove the largest traces of dirt and/or products from the
equipment and its components. Then wash all components and the equipment in general with a pressure sprayer
or a hose. Water is one of the two most important cleaning agents. It should be used to remove 60-70% of all fo
-
reign materials present in the conveyor equipment.
In order to best dissolve the dirt, keep the water temperature between 32 °C-57 °C. Finally, to complete the cleaning,
spray the equipment and its components with Master Clean. Do not use detergents or other cleaning products not
specified by the manufacturer. Let Master Clean act for several seconds and then remove it with the help of paper.
11.3. Assembly the equipment
Once the equipment and its components have been cleaned, complete the assembly of the conveyor belt following
the instructions below. Remember that only authorized and trained personnel may perform this task.
1. Insert sideways the conveyor belt, with the tensioning head folded down, as shown in the following image.
